The aim of this paper is to evaluate the influence small variations in chemical composition on corrosion resistance and mechanical properties low-manganese medium manganese high strength steels. Six different steels with content varying from 1.5 4.0 wt.% aluminium 0.008 6.5 were subjected analysis. other subjects for evaluation included effect as a replacement silicon, niobium microalloying heat treatment. non-metallic inclusions localized initiation propagation was also documented. Using potentiodynamic testing, exposure tensile impact it found that improvement associated increasing accompanied by significant deterioration properties.
